RN Clinical Educator - OR

Responsibilities

• Serves as clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and nursing.
• Serves as a change agent and promotes quality through the utilization of nursing expertise.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leader(s) as needed.

Qualifications

Education* Associate’s Degree in Nursing Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Preferred

Work Experience* 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience Required

Licenses and Certifications* RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License Upon Hire Required and

• BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS certification Upon Hire Required and
• Advanced certification in field of specialty (AORN) within 60 Days Required
