Registered Nurse (RN)

Looking for a full-time Registered Nurse for our surgery center in St. George. Hours will be 32-40 per week.

Applicant should be someone with a great attitude and work ethic that can handle a fast paced environment.

Job duties include:

• Comfortable placing several IV's daily is a must.
• Prepare pre and post-operative areas. Keep an accurate record of all drugs on hand.
• Prepare patients for, and assist with, procedures and treatments.
• Assist physicians and all healthcare professionals caring for the patient, always giving a complete and thorough report on patient status throughout treatment and recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and identifies any changes in status, acting on those changes to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Perform routine nursing care to assigned patients, while utilizing age specific and universal precaution practices at all times.
• Practice patient teaching/training for patients and families.
• Communicate with all staff, patients, and families with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Handle and be knowledgeable of all medical equipment utilized in the care of the patient.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Job flexibility and ability to adapt to change is also a must.
