As a Certified Tax Accountant, you’ll prepare accurate tax returns, interpret tax law, and help us make informed financial decisions. You’ll bring accounting and finance experience, sound judgment, and clear client communication to work spanning individual and corporate tax.

Duties

• Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns, tax reports, and supporting schedules; apply tax compliance requirements and relevant tax law.
• Perform cost segregation for real estate properties
• Apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), technical accounting, and regulatory compliance accounting; support auditing and regulatory reporting, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls where applicable.
• Advise on tax considerations involving estate planning, wills, trusts and estate law, securities law, mergers and acquisitions, investment, and asset management.

Experience

• Required: Tax experience, tax accounting, tax return preparation, accounting software proficiency, analysis skills, and strong client communication.
• Preferred: Public accounting, corporate accounting or corporate tax expertise; financial accounting, non-profit accounting, financial services, private equity, financial sales, or sales experience.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Yardi and other financial software; experience with low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC) is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial concepts, financial planning, financial acumen, account analysis, general ledger reconciliation, and financial report writing or interpretation is valued.

Pay: $64,400.00 - $77,700.00 per year
