About the Role:

Performance Pediatrics is looking for a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Lafayette, NJ! This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families by delivering high-quality, specialized physical therapy care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients across a range of developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and evidence-based practices
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve gross motor skills, strength, balance, and functional mobility
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to support each child's progress
  • Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development opportunities
  • Educate and train parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic strategies

Requirements:

  • Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of New Jersey
  • NJ School Certification
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
  • Experience in pediatric physical therapy preferred
  • Knowledge of developmental milestones, sensory processing, and pediatric rehabilitation techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and care teams
  • CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children of all ages and abilities
