Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist - PRN, you’ll assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and guide rehabilitation across appropriate care settings. You’ll apply your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support safe, purposeful care for patients with varied needs, including geriatric patients.

Duties

• Evaluate patient needs and provide physical therapy, including rehabilitation interventions such as trigger point therapy when appropriate.
• Develop and update care plans and treatment plans; document assessments, progress, and care in electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals on patient care, rehabilitation goals, and discharge planning.
• Communicate clearly with patients and clients, explain treatment, and support participation in care.
• Apply clinical documentation standards and medical terminology consistently across assigned settings.

Experience

• Experience practicing in a physical therapy role and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and patient care are essential.
• Acute care, inpatient, hospital, outpatient, clinic, outpatient rehabilitation center, home health, or home and community care experience is valuable.
• Experience with orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, geriatrics, or working with geriatric patients is preferred.
• Familiarity with physical therapy documentation, EHR/EMR management, and collaborating with healthcare professionals is preferred.

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
