Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of physiotherapy principles and demonstrate a passion for improving patient outcomes through personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical conditions by conducting thorough evaluations, including physiology and anatomy knowledge, to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
• Develop individualized care plans that align with patient needs, medical conditions, and recovery goals, incorporating therapies such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics.
• Implement treatment protocols for various populations, including geriatric, pediatric, neurological, and orthopedic patients, ensuring safe and effective rehabilitation.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Manage clinical documentation according to healthcare standards, ensuring accurate records within electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Provide patient education on physiotherapy exercises, injury prevention, and health maintenance to promote long-term wellness.
• Participate in outpatient clinic or home health settings, delivering therapy services that meet clinical standards while fostering positive client communication.
• Assist in the development of treatment plans for inpatient or hospital-based rehabilitation programs, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice.
• Proven experience in outpatient rehabilitation centers, hospital settings, or home health environments with a focus on patient rehabilitation.
• Strong skills in discharge planning, care plan development, and working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics and pediatrics.
• Proficiency in managing outpatient experience and inpatient care workflows using EMR or EHR systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams across various disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.
• Familiarity with physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and neurology treatments.
• Excellent client communication skills to educate patients clearly about their treatment process and progress.
