Platform Engineer

🚀 Now Hiring: Platform Engineer (Telemetry Focus) | TS/SCI-Eligible | $135K–$200K Peak to Creek Precision Staffing is recruiting a Platform Engineer on behalf of our client for a potential opportunity supporting secure cloud and on-premises environments. 📡 Telemetry is the #1 priority for this role.

If you’ve built and run real telemetry, such as metrics, logs, and dashboards for containerized workloads, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do

Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible Package and deploy applications to Kubernetes with Helm Build monitoring, logging, and dashboards to track system health and container performance Build and support secure CI/CD pipelines Harden cloud and on-prem systems to meet security standards, and fix vulnerabilities Automate Linux operations with Python and Bash Integrate commercial and open-source tools into secure environments What you bring ✅ Hands-on telemetry experience (most important) ✅ Active Top Secret clearance, able to obtain SCI, and willing to take a CI polygraph ✅ U.S. citizenship and Security+ ✅ Strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, and hardening ✅ AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Chef ✅ Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and EKS Auto Mode ✅ Strong scripting and automation, and experience integrating systems across cloud and on-premises environments Nice to have ⭐ Grafana, Prometheus, Promtail, and Loki ⭐ Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, Jira, and Confluence ⭐ AWS architecture and DevSecOps practices ⭐ Servers, networking, storage, and virtualization ⭐ Integrating commercial off-the-shelf and open-source tools into secure environments Compensation and client benefits 💰 $135,000–$200,000, depending on experience 🏥 Fully paid employee medical and dental 👶 Paid parental leave 📈 401(k) with employer match 🌴 Vacation that grows with tenure 🎓 Tuition reimbursement and professional development 🍽️ Free refreshments and regular team meals, plus employee referral bonuses Interested?
