About this role
Pattern is looking for a data-driven, growth-minded
Performance Marketing Manager
to manage the processes that drive qualified leads and make sure they turn into scheduled, attended meetings with our advisors.
You won't just manage campaigns or report on traffic. You'll own the physician journey from the first click to a meeting held, working across paid, organic, email, and referral channels to improve results. You'll guide our agency partner toward meaningful business outcomes, build nurture and follow-up programs that move physicians forward, and develop referral and ambassador initiatives that support long-term growth.
You'll work closely with the Sales team, our Business Intelligence Analyst, and other internal teams to understand what's working, identify opportunities, and turn marketing performance into measurable results. This role is a manager of processes not people.
What You Will Do
- Own lead generation strategy. Build quarterly plans with clear targets by channel and funnel stage, connecting marketing activity to qualified leads and advisor meetings.
- Manage our agency partner relationship. Help analyze performance goals, provide lead-quality feedback, and guide paid media efforts toward qualified opportunities and meetings held rather than impressions or form fills.
- Build and optimize landing pages, lead forms, and conversion paths that help interested physicians take the next step.
- Develop effective nurture campaigns, speed-to-lead processes, scheduling reminders, and no-show recovery follow-up that turn interest into meetings.
- Engage physician and partner ambassadors to grow referral opportunities, develop targeted referral campaigns, and track their impact on qualified leads and advisor meetings.
- Track qualified leads, meetings scheduled, meetings held, show rate, and cost per meeting held across channels.
- Work with Sales Advisors and Sales leadership to define lead quality, improve handoffs, and understand which marketing efforts produce the strongest opportunities.
- Collaborate with our Business Intelligence Analyst to continually improve reporting that shows how marketing activity translates into qualified leads and meetings.
- Use CRM, marketing automation, and approved AI tools to improve follow-up, streamline repetitive work, and make marketing programs more effective.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of marketing experience focused on lead generation and conversion into sales.
- A track record of managing marketing programs that generated measurable leads, meetings, or revenue, supported by performance data.
- Experience working with an agency or vendor partner toward clear performance goals.
- Experience managing budgets, tracking expenses, and forecasting future costs.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation tools for lead nurture, reporting, and attribution.
- Working knowledge of paid search and paid social, with the ability to guide an agency partner and evaluate performance.
- Experience with A/B testing and web analytics, such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4) or similar platforms.
- Strong ability to develop effective landing pages, email campaigns, nurture sequences, and referral messaging.
- Excited to develop a new strategy, execute the work, and take ownership of results.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across Marketing, Sales, and external partners.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a regulated industry, such as insurance or financial services. Marketing to physicians or other professional audiences.
- Experience with AI tools to improve marketing workflows, marketing automation, lead attribution, and multi-channel funnel reporting.
What Success Looks Like
- Increased qualified physician leads generated across marketing channels who are scheduling and attending meetings with advisors.
- A referral and ambassador program that consistently contributes qualified opportunities.
- Marketing programs and campaigns that are measured, tested, and improved over time.
