Clinic RN-Plastic Surgery

Great opportunity to join a plastic surgery practice in Oconomowoc whose mission is to provide excellent patient care, as well as a uniquely enjoyable patient experience. We are seeking an experienced RN to join our team.

Position

Plastic Surgery Clinic RN

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of patient care experience in a clinic setting, is friendly, polished, well-spoken, and committed to offering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Current State of WI RN Licensure (BSN highly desirable)
• BLS/ACLS Certification.
• Training in plastic surgery a plus
• Experience in post-operative triage highly desired.
• Interested in expanding skills and knowledge.

Essential Skills and Abilities

• Responsible for phone/EMR triage of post-operative patient concerns and questions (including incisions, medications, side effects, post-op instructions, etc)
• Responsible for carrying out patient care directives instructed by the Surgeon to ensure quality patient care such as removing and applying dressing, applying garments, topical anesthetic, cold packs, etc.
• Ability to independently examine patients 3 weeks post-operative and report findings to surgeon.
• Discussing cosmetic surgery and treatment options with prospective patients

This position could range from 2-4 days per week depending on applicant's preference.
