Real Estate Property Accountant

Job Summary

The Real Estate Property Accountant supports accurate financial reporting and day-to-day accounting for real estate properties. This role applies GAAP and general ledger accounting practices while working with Yardi Voyager, payables, and receivables.

Duties

• Maintain general ledger records and support accurate property accounting in accordance with GAAP.
• Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Use Yardi Voyager to record and manage property accounting activity.
• Assist with account reconciliations and financial reporting for assigned properties.
• Your impact: Accurate, timely accounting helps property teams and stakeholders make informed decisions.

Skills

• Knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager is necessary to the role.
• Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• NYC housing compliance is a plus
• Knowledge of construction accounting is a plus
• Ability to review financial information carefully and communicate clearly.
• Ability to work on a team

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
