Registered Nurse Pre-Op/PACU

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Pre Operative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to join our Ambulatory Surgical Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient care and medical office settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures
• Monitor vital signs and manage pain levels post-surgery
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately
• Start IVs

-Get complete medical history from patient

Experience

• Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred
• Strong background in medical documentation and patient care
• Ability to work closely with doctors and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Familiarity with post-operative care protocols and best practices
