Forward Deployed Engineer

Designation/Role: Lead / Developer – Forward Deployed Engineer Experience – 8+ years Job Description : 8+ years of experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer delivering production software, including 3+ years within a single industry across multiple functions or horizontal domains. Own end-to-end solution delivery, from customer discovery and success metrics to production deployment.

Translate complex business challenges into technical architectures, implementation roadmaps, and scalable solutions. Build production-grade backend services, APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and payment integrations. Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions for fraud detection, risk modeling, dispute automation, and reconciliation.

Build LLM-powered applications and AI agents using RAG, tool calling, and multi-agent orchestration. Leverage AI coding assistants and automation tools to accelerate engineering productivity. Design secure, compliant, and auditable systems aligned with PCI DSS and data privacy requirements.

Collaborate with customer engineering teams, business stakeholders, and senior executives to drive measurable outcomes. Partner with leadership to shape AI strategies, present technical solutions, identify opportunities, and support account growth. Technical Skills Programming: Python, Java, or Go; APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

Cloud & Infrastructure

Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Data Engineering

SQL, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, streaming pipelines, and workflow automation.

AI/ML

Statistical modeling, fraud and risk analytics, XGBoost, PyTorch, and MLOps.

Agentic AI

RAG, LLM applications, tool calling, LangGraph, MCP, AI evaluations, and guardrails.

Payments & Compliance

Card networks, ISO 8583/20022, ACH, RTP, SEPA, SWIFT, settlement, PCI DSS, KYC, and AML.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple audiences, including firm-wide business units, senior leaders, associates and clients.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
