Product Owner

Job Description:

This role sits within the Consumer Banking Enterprise Transformation organization supporting the FinCrimes value stream.

The manager is seeking Product Owners who can bridge the gap between business and technology by helping define, prioritize, and prepare work for engineering teams. Current engineering capacity exists, but additional Product Owner support is needed to ensure requirements, user stories, and backlogs are properly prepared so development work can move forward efficiently.

The role is business-facing rather than technology-facing, but requires strong technical Product Owner capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain product backlog.
• Create, refine, and prioritize user stories.
• Ensure stories are sprint-ready.
• Work closely with engineering teams to move work into development.
• Partner with business, technology, PMO, and transformation teams.
• Participate in ideation and elaboration activities.
• Support roadmap planning and delivery objectives.
• Maintain Jira and Agile artifacts.
• Work across 1-2 delivery pods/projects simultaneously.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and priorities.
