Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary & Responsibilities

1. Responsible for design, implementation and maintenance of complex software applications and modules containing extensive multi-threading and distributed computing.

2. Follow established SDLC practices to develop and maintain software to a good standard of quality.

3. Travel (up to 30%) to other locations and customer sites for projects and support onsite issues.

4. Work with suplliers, purcahsing, manufacturing, etc for the compute system design, procurement, setup, etc.

5. Lead and assist team members as appropriate.

6. Keep abreast of latest technologies, standards and information relevant to the company’s software development products.

7. Identify to the Software Manager any gaps in knowledge, equipment or process.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or above degree in computer science or related field.

2. Minimum 5 years of professional experience with bachelor's degree and 2 years of professional experience with advanced degree.

3. Professional experience in C++ or C# programming.

4. Experience in developing desktop application, web applications and web services.

5. Experience in developing distributed applications.

6. Knowledge of technologies, and tools for developing efficient and reliable data intensive applications.

7. Knowledge of compute systems and the ablity to specify compute, memory, storage and networking for various compute needs.

8. Ability to work independently and lead major product features.

9. Excellent communication skills

Compensation & Growth

• Base Salary Range:

$115,200.00 - $172,800.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.* Additional Rewards: Annual bonus opportunities and potential long-term incentives tied to both company and individual success.
