About this role
Employer-provided description, formatted for easier reading.
OEC provides software solutions to those who work in the automotive parts and repair industry. Our solutions make it easier for automotive industry professionals to buy and sell parts, conduct repair research & planning, optimize estimates, improve the parts supply chain, and more.
OEC partners with many of the world’s largest manufacturers, dealers and suppliers, shops and repairers, and service providers, giving our customers access to a comprehensive network and a streamlined workflow.
Help shape the future of collision repair. OEC's Collision marketplace connects dealers, suppliers, repair shops, and carriers, and it's one of our flagship products. We're looking for a Product Manager who can breathe new life into an established platform, balance innovation with customer needs, and uncover new ways to grow revenue.
What You'll Do
- Own the roadmap for an OEC flagship product, making tough prioritization calls between new innovation and customer requests.
- Partner daily with our Chennai-based Product Owner and engineering team to turn business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Revitalize and expand an established product, finding new revenue opportunities and building the business case for them.
- Use product analytics (adoption, conversion, retention, GMV) to guide decisions and measure success.
- Apply marketplace best practices across catalog, pricing, search, and transaction workflows.
- Collaborate with UX on prototypes and usability testing, and with sales, marketing, and customer success on launches and retention.
- Build relationships with OEMs, partners, and customers through research, interviews, and the occasional speaking engagement.
What You Bring
- 4+ years in product management, ideally with marketplace, ecommerce, or B2B products.
- Proven success working with offshore or distributed teams. You know what makes it work and how to handle the hard parts.
- Experience revitalizing or expanding legacy products to capture new revenue.
- Sharp prioritization skills and the judgment to say no.
- Exceptional written communication, especially across time zones.
- Ability to ramp quickly on a complex product, its customers, and their workflows.
- Agile/Scrum fluency and comfort with Jira, Confluence, and analytics tools.
- Enough technical fluency to discuss APIs, integrations, and data flows with engineers.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Bonus Points
Automotive, collision repair, or B2B marketplace experience; exposure to AI/ML-powered features.
Travel: 10–15% (about 1–2 days a month)
What We Offer:
- Full benefits starting Day 1: Medical, Dental, and Vision
- 401(k) with company match
- Unlimited Flex Time Off plus 10 company-paid holidays
- Remote-first role with monthly communication stipend
- Professional development programs and tuition assistance

What makes working at OEC awesome? It varies from employee to employee. For some, it's the flexibility - whether it's remote work or a hybrid or in-person role, OEC takes our teams across multiple time zones and international communities.
For others, it's the strong sense of camaraderie and community that celebrates both individuals and team-driven contributions. Or it could be the empowerment and how the team is encouraged to take risks, learn, and grow within a dynamic and supportive environment.
But no matter what gets us out of bed in the morning, our whole global community is inspired to be forward thinking and drive innovative solutions for the automotive parts and repair industry.
