About this role

Octagos is modernizing remote cardiac monitoring with AI-powered automation, seamless EHR integrations, and accuracy proven in high-volume, real-world clinics. Atlas AI™ triages cardiac device transmissions to filter nonactionable alerts and highlights the events that need true clinical attention.

With fast, flexible, and zero-cost bi-directional EHR integrations, Octagos all-in-one solution helps clinics scale care efficiently without compromise.

Recognized by TIME and Statista as one of the World’s Top HealthTech Companies in both 2025 and 2026, Octagos is redefining how cardiac care is delivered.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Manager, Commercial Operations to join our Commercial Operations team in our Houston office. This is the engine room of the commercial organization: the team that keeps HubSpot accurate, builds the business case behind every deal, generates the contracts, and gives sales leadership a forecast they can stand behind.

You will work directly alongside our Vice President, Commercial Operations and our Commercial Operations lead, supporting a national field sales team selling CIED and ambulatory remote monitoring into cardiology and electrophysiology practices, hospital systems and IDNs.

The role is part analyst, part deal desk and part field partner: you will be in HubSpot and Excel in the morning and on a customer call or in a clinic with a rep in the afternoon.

Because our reps sell into device clinics, this role requires someone who already speaks the language. We are looking for cardiac rhythm management (CRM) experience from one of the four major device manufacturers. You should know what a device clinic’s day actually looks like before you model its economics.

Key Responsibilities

  • HubSpot Ownership & Data Integrity
  • Own day-to-day administration and data quality in HubSpot: deal records, pipeline stage discipline, owner and territory assignment, duplicate resolution and required-field completeness.
  • Maintain the official patient-count methodology, including the live platform count that replaces the sold estimate 30 days after go-live, and reconcile sold versus live figures.
  • Run weekly reconciliation between the commercial pipeline, the onboarding tracker and finance so gaps are corrected before quarter end rather than at it.
  • Enforce deal hygiene standards, including verification of executed contracts and BAAs before a deal is marked Closed Won.
  • Deal Support & Business Case
  • Build and review pro formas across our pricing models and provide oversight on complex or non-standard deals.
  • Generate standard Master Service Agreements and order forms, route them for signature and track execution to completion.
  • Support pricing governance: partner with sales leadership so pricing strategy is set internally before a number reaches the customer.
  • Coach reps to build their own business case, and raise the quality bar on the ones that come to you.
  • Reporting, Forecasting & Analysis
  • Maintain the commercial dashboards and the weekly scorecard used by sales leadership and the executive team.
  • Produce pipeline coverage, forecast and capacity reporting in line with our Pipeline, Coverage & Forecasting SOP.
  • Deliver the analysis behind quarterly business reviews, board reporting, and territory, hiring and quota planning.
  • Identify accounts at risk, stalled deals and expansion opportunities from the data, and drive follow-up with the responsible rep.
  • Field & Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Join field visits and customer meetings as commercial support: pricing conversations, finance and administrative stakeholders, and contracting discussions.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Onboarding, Finance and Marketing to keep account handoffs, go-live tracking and campaign follow-up connected.
  • Support national and regional programs, symposiums and conferences with target lists, meeting logistics and post-event follow-up tracking.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (business, healthcare, life sciences or related field preferred).
  • At least 3 years of cardiac rhythm management (CRM) experience with one of the four major device manufacturers (Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific or Biotronik) in a field clinical, sales, territory or clinical specialist role. This is a firm requirement.
  • Working knowledge of CIED remote monitoring workflows and manufacturer platforms (CareLink, Merlin.net, LATITUDE, Home Monitoring), and of device clinic staffing and operations.
  • Hands-on experience with a sales CRM platform; HubSpot strongly preferred, Salesforce or comparable acceptable.
  • Strong Excel skills required (pivot tables, lookups, model building.
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring reimbursement (CPT 93294 to 93298)
  • Comfort working with contracts and coordinating signature and renewal processes.
  • Exceptional organization, follow-through and written communication; able to hold a national sales team to a standard without managing them.
  • Based in Houston, Texas and able to work in-office; willing to travel approximately 25% for field and customer support.
  • IBHRE certification (CCDS, CEPS) a plus.

Why Join Octagos?

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
  • Insurance coverage including health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability
  • 401(k) program
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Innovative environment: help shape how cardiac care is delivered at one of the World’s Top HealthTech Companies 2025
