Assistant Operations Manager

Welcome to Ocean Star International. We are a Utah based company focused on manufacturing high quality aquaculture feed, and most commonly recognized for our Brine Shrimp Eggs harvested out of the Great Salt Lake. We have been in the business for over 40 years.

We are currently looking for an Assistant operations manager to help us at our plant here in Snowville, Utah. You would be responsible for helping our Plant manager with various tasks related to our aquaculture feed production. Our plant team also assists in organizing and shipping out our brine shrimp egg to our customers overseas.

You would get to learn how to manufacture our aquaculture feeds and learn more about a very unique business here in the state of Utah.

We are looking for someone who is great at organization and enjoys leading people. Some of our goals for this position include building solid relationships with other staff, implementing and managing inventory systems, employee organization and order preparations. We hope our next assistant will be eager to jump in with our team and find ways to better our company.

Requirements:

-Great organization skills

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing setting
• Leadership experience preferred

-Shift flexibility (mostly Monday - Thursday from 5 AM to 3:30 PM with the ability to work some Fridays)

• Spanish speaking (preferred)
