We are seeking a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services on an as-needed, per diem basis.

Position Overview

The CRNA will be responsible for providing safe, effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures. This position offers scheduling flexibility and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced surgical team in an ambulatory surgery center environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Conduct appropriate pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia in accordance with established clinical standards.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and assist with recovery and post-anesthesia care as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient documentation.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow all applicable patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Florida APRN license with appropriate CRNA recognition and authorization.
• Current national certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
• Previous anesthesia experience required.
• Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Schedule

This is a PRN / per diem opportunity. Workdays will be coordinated according to the facility's surgical schedule and staffing needs.

Compensation

Compensation will be discussed with candidates and will be based on qualifications, experience, and the agreed-upon staffing arrangement.
