Back-End Engineer

Back-End Engineer. Build REST authoring accessible, localized, performant, secure, standards-compliant, and well-tested computer code. Help to define, create and maintain the data structures required to feed cloud services.

Quickly debug applications. Involved with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Participate in open-source projects.

Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and services, while creating and managing relational database structures.

Requires M.S. degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and knowledge of REST, Java, PostgreSQL and Oracle; Background in data management issues; Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Tomcat, OAuth 2.0; Familiarity with distributed systems within a Micro Service architecture; Background in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD); Background in open-source projects and various mechanisms for Authentication and Authorization (Groups, Roles, Permissions); Familiarity with asynchronous, message-driven design; Understanding of AWS technologies, PostgreSQL and Oracle.
