Senior Front End Developer

About the Role

Our main product, Gramercy Experience Portal, powers hybrid events (e.g., agendas, video content, attendee directories), as well as badge printing and mobile apps for in-person events. Responsibilities for a Senior Front End Developer will include working with a team of experienced developers, project managers, clients, and the design team to bring events to life within our custom-built CMS.

Candidates should have an experienced eye for design and be well-versed in Vue or another JavaScript-based framework.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Product team to develop new user-facing features
• Write reusable, scalable code
• Anticipate client / PM requests or potential challenges and planning accordingly
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with designers, developers, and other relevant staff members or clients
• Provide website maintenance and enhancements
• Documenting methods that are widely used across the front end (institutional knowledge)
• Relied on for projects with tight timelines / short deadlines
• Create clean and responsive layouts
• Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
• Promote accessibility and usability best practices
• Review and enhance existing templates / scripts to maintain scalability
• Create and maintain existing templates for clients / PMs
• Act as a resource for the rest of the front end team to help foster growth / best practices
• Work primarily on more high profile / high risk projects
• Part of the on-call rotation
• Internal candidate should be with Gramercy for at least year and a half / two years

Location: Hybrid, with occasional travel based on client and event needs.

Salary Range: $105,000-$120,000

Compensation for this position will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, skills set, qualifications, geographic location, market data and business needs.
