About El Jardín Recovery Centers

Rooted in culture. Driven by recovery. Powered by community.

Founded in 2001, El Jardín Recovery Centers provides culturally and linguistically specific, low-barrier recovery and harm reduction services for Latino communities. From pioneering Spanish-language addiction and recovery training in Oregon to operating community-based recovery centers, El Jardín is committed to creating meaningful pathways to recovery, connection, and lasting change.

About This Role

Put your accounting expertise behind a mission that strengthens lives. As El Jardín’s Accountant, you help build the financial stability that keeps culturally specific, low-barrier recovery and harm reduction services accessible to Latino communities.

Your work connects accurate accounting with community impact—helping safeguard resources, meet funding commitments, and support informed decisions that sustain essential services.

As the organization’s primary accounting staff member, you will work closely with the Executive Director to manage daily accounting, reconcile accounts, coordinate payroll with Human Resources, track grant and program expenses, and prepare timely financial reports. You will also support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and audit preparation while identifying practical improvements to accounting processes.

This hybrid position combines independent responsibility with close collaboration, operating within established financial controls and under the Executive Director's and Board's approval and oversight. Attention to detail, sound judgment, and clear communication will help turn financial information into reliable support for El Jardín’s mission.

Meaningful Work.
