NurseAmerica is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for flexible Per Diem (PRN) opportunities in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients across assigned clinical units.
• Perform patient assessments, monitor clinical conditions, and identify changes in patient status requiring intervention.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed therapies in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate significant clinical changes to physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and positive patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Follow established infection control procedures, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred, ADN accepted.
• Active, unrestricted Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care nursing experience in the applicable specialty.
• Previous experience in Med-Surg, ICU, or Emergency Department nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for ICU and ER assignments.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic acute care environment.
