About this role
Full job description Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) | Clinical Leadership | 4-Day Workweek
Northwest Ketamine Clinics & Northwest Healing & Wellness
Location: Tacoma, WA
Schedule: Full-Time | Tuesday–Friday | Four 10-Hour Shifts
Two Organizations. One Mission. A Career Beyond Traditional Patient Care.
What if your next position offered more than seeing patients, writing notes, and repeating the same clinical routine?
Northwest Ketamine Clinics (NWKC) and Northwest Healing & Wellness (NWHW) are seeking an experienced, compassionate Nurse Practitioner who wants to make a meaningful impact, not only on patients' lives, but on the future of two rapidly growing healthcare organizations.
This is an opportunity to practice with autonomy, mentor clinical teams, help develop innovative treatment programs, and play an active role in expanding access to mental healthcare.
Four-day workweek. Clinical autonomy. Leadership opportunities.
Innovative medicine. Real impact.
We are looking for someone who wants to help build something, not simply fill a position.
Who We Are
Northwest Ketamine Clinics (NWKC) is the first and largest freestanding ketamine infusion clinic in the Pacific Northwest. As a family-owned, nurse-practitioner-led organization, NWKC specializes in IV ketamine therapy for individuals struggling with treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, anxiety, chronic pain, and other complex conditions.
Northwest Healing & Wellness (NWHW) expands our ability to serve patients through insurance-based psychiatric and behavioral healthcare, including Spravato, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), psychiatric medication management, and other emerging treatment options.
Together, our organizations create a more comprehensive approach to mental healthcare, combining innovative interventional treatments with ongoing psychiatric support.
With shared clinical locations in Bellevue, Seattle, and Tacoma, we are building an integrated care environment where providers can collaborate across treatment modalities and help patients access the care they need.
Our philosophy is simple
Exceptional patient outcomes begin with empowered clinical professionals.
We believe Nurse Practitioners should practice at the highest level of their license, have a meaningful voice in clinical decisions, and be supported by an organization that invests in their success.
The ARNP Role
The Opportunity: Practice, Lead, and Grow
This is not a traditional Nurse Practitioner position.
We are looking for an experienced provider who combines excellent clinical judgment with strong leadership skills and a genuine interest in helping two growing organizations reach their full potential.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Make a meaningful difference:
Help patients who have struggled with conventional treatments discover new paths toward improved mental health and quality of life.
- Be a clinical leader:
Mentor, guide, and support RNs and MAs while fostering a collaborative, high-performing clinical environment.
- Practice across multiple treatment modalities:
Gain experience with IV ketamine therapy, Spravato, TMS, and psychiatric medication management as appropriate to your training and scope.
- Shape new clinical programs:
Participate in developing, implementing, and refining services across NWKC and NWHW.
- Practice with autonomy:
Exercise your clinical judgment while collaborating with experienced clinical and operational leadership.
- Help build something bigger:
Contribute to organizational growth, clinical quality initiatives, and community relationships.
- Enjoy a four-day workweek:
Tuesday through Friday, with three consecutive days off each week.
We value providers who bring ideas to the table, take ownership of their responsibilities, and genuinely care about the success of their patients and teammates.
What You'll Do
Patient Care & Clinical Excellence
- Conduct patient consultations, medical screenings, histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments.
- Administer and supervise IV ketamine infusion therapy in accordance with established protocols.
- Administer and oversee Spravato treatments in accordance with applicable clinical and REMS requirements.
- Participate in psychiatric medication management and other clinical services as appropriate to qualifications and scope.
- Monitor treatment response, patient safety, and clinical outcomes.
- Provide patient education, individualized treatment recommendations, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical documentation.
Clinical Leadership & Team Development
- Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and leader for RNs and LPNs.
- Support clinical training, professional development, and staff competency.
- Promote clinical consistency, accountability, and adherence to established protocols.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve workflows, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
- Help foster a supportive environment where clinical professionals work collaboratively toward exceptional patient outcomes.
Innovation & Organizational Growth
- Participate in launching and expanding clinical services across NWKC and NWHW.
- Contribute to clinical quality improvement and program development.
- Help develop community partnerships and professional referral relationships.
- Provide input on clinical initiatives, patient experience improvements, and opportunities for continued growth.
