Build Your Career With a Growing Healthcare Company
We are seeking a part time Physical Therapist to join a growing healthcare organization serving patients throughout Oakland and Wayne counties.
Your week will include a combination of in-home visits, group home visits, and on-site physical therapy services, allowing you to work with a wide variety of patients and clinical needs.
We are a newer company, which means the right therapist will have the opportunity to grow with the organization, contribute ideas, help shape the physical therapy program, and potentially move into greater clinical or leadership responsibilities as we expand.
If you are looking for variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to get involved early in a growing organization, this could be a great fit.
Who You Will
Work With
Our therapists work with a broad patient population, including:
- Older adults and geriatric patients
- Individuals with developmental disabilities
- Group home residents
- Automobile accident patients
- Orthopedic rehabilitation patients
- Neurological patients
- Individuals with mobility and balance limitations
- Patients experiencing weakness, deconditioning, or functional decline
As a Physical Therapist, you will:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
- Develop individualized plans of care
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatment
- Perform therapeutic exercise and strengthening programs

- Help patients improve independence and functional ability
- Assess and address fall risk
- Provide patient and caregiver education
- Recommend appropriate mobility strategies and assistive devices
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when necessary
- Complete evaluations, progress notes, treatment documentation, reassessments, and discharge documentation
- Communicate with physicians, nurses, caregivers, case managers, therapists, and other members of the care team
- Travel between scheduled patient locations throughout Oakland and Wayne counties
- Participate in care coordination and team communication
Your Work Week
To start, we will have our PT doing office visits that will be 2-3 times per week.
Your schedule will vary based on the patients being seen and their locations throughout the week.
Some days may primarily include:
- In-home physical therapy visits
Other days may include:
- Group home visits
- On-site patient treatment
- A combination of different settings
Because our services are provided throughout Oakland and Wayne counties, candidates should be comfortable traveling between patient locations.
Opportunity to Grow With the Company
One of the biggest advantages of this position is the ability to join the organization during an early stage of growth.
We are looking for someone who wants to be more than just another employee on a large therapy team.
The right candidate may eventually have the opportunity to help with:
- Building physical therapy workflows
- Developing clinical policies and procedures
- Improving scheduling and patient care processes
- Establishing documentation standards
- Helping onboard future therapy staff
- Mentoring new clinicians
- Expanding physical therapy services
- Developing new programs
- Participating in operational decisions
- Taking on future clinical leadership or management responsibilities
If you have ever wanted the opportunity to help build a therapy program instead of simply stepping into one that is already established, this role provides that opportunity.
