DevOps Engineer (Azure Administration)

DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to manage, secure, and optimize cloud infrastructure and production environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong Azure administration, systems and network troubleshooting, and automation experience, with the ability to support application performance and maintain reliable 24x7 operations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and secure Linux, Unix, and Windows systems, Azure infrastructure, and network environments.
• Monitor applications, troubleshoot infrastructure and database connectivity issues, and resolve production incidents.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Shell, or Perl to improve operational efficiency.
• Support Azure services and DevOps tools, including Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.
• Maintain operational procedures, support documentation, and service-level agreement (SLA) reports.
• Troubleshoot networking issues involving TCP/IP, firewalls, access control lists, and NAT.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of systems administration and technical troubleshooting experience.
• 3+ years of Azure administration, application monitoring, network administration, and scripting or automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with at least three relevant Azure services or DevOps tools.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix, Windows, networking fundamentals, and application/database connectivity.
• Experience documenting operational processes and supporting 24x7 production environments.
