Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Description:

Chesapeake Wellness Center is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to oversee and coordinate the delivery of patient care in a primary care setting. We are seeking a nurse practitioner who is independent, enthusiastic and caring to provide comprehensive healthcare for our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding well established primary care medical practice in Cecil County, Maryland.

This is a full-time/part-time job opportunity.

Qualified candidates should have an active NP license in the respective state and be eligible for or have active DEA registration. Must have reliable transportation to work each day. Must be able to work in a team environment and work independently.

Must have strong interpersonal skills with good organizational and planning skills.

Experience is preferred but not required. This is a flexible full or part time position offers a competitive salary, paid discretionary time, Holidays, CME allowance, Health, life and Disability insurance available.

Job Requirements:

● Current NP/PA licensure in the state of practice.

● Sound communication skills to educate patients about their health.

Responsibilities include:

● Conduct patient assessment.

● Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions, providing appropriate treatment plans.

● Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.

● Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

● Utilize electronic health record system documentation and communication.

● Engage in professional development and stay updated on best practices in primary care.

Job Type

Full-time/ Part-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Medical specialties: Primary Care, Internal Medicine

Weekly schedule: Monday to Thursday. 16 – 40 per week

Work Setting: In-person, Outpatient

Ability to commute/relocate: Cecil County, Maryland. Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work.
