Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, and JavaScript frameworks like React and Express.
• Design system architectures that emphasize scalability, reliability, and security, utilizing microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, review code, and deliver features iteratively while adhering to best practices in software engineering.
• Implement cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms like AWS, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency for scalable systems.
• Utilize version control tools such as GitHub, SVN, and Git to manage codebases effectively and facilitate seamless collaboration.
• Apply design patterns and system design principles to develop robust applications that meet business requirements.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality while maintaining high standards of software design.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes, ensuring rapid delivery of updates with minimal downtime.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing systems for performance improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure components.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Java, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript (React, Express), VBA, and C.
• Hands-on experience with web development technologies such as REST APIs, JavaScript frameworks, HTML/CSS, and front-end development tools.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS or similar services for deploying scalable applications.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, design patterns, system design for system development, and scalability strategies.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments using tools like GitHub or SVN for version control.
• Understanding of database management systems such as MySQL or SQL Server for application data storage solutions.
• Knowledge of security best practices including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) for managing user permissions.
• Ability to work effectively on Linux-based systems and utilize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment processes.
