Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Solution Architect – Azure to lead architecture and technical solutioning for large-scale enterprise cloud transformations. The role will focus on Azure assessments, migration strategy, target-state architecture, modernization, governance, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise

Azure assessments

, cloud readiness, dependency analysis, TCO/ROI, and migration roadmaps.

• Design

Azure Landing Zones and target-state architectures

across compute, networking, security, storage, databases, DR, and monitoring.

• Lead large-scale

data center/VMware-to-Azure migrations and modernization

involving thousands of workloads.

• Define migration waves, migration factory models, rehost/replatform/refactor strategies, and modernization approaches.
• Lead architects and infrastructure SMEs across complex transformation programs.
• Establish architecture standards, governance, security, resilience, and

FinOps/cost optimization

.

• Drive automation using

Azure Migrate, Terraform/Bicep, Azure DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code

.

• Work directly with

CIO/CTO, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Cloud teams

.

• Mentor architects and build reusable architecture patterns, accelerators, and best practices.

Required Skills

• 15+ years

in IT Infrastructure/Cloud, including

8+ years in Azure/Cloud Architecture

.

• Strong Azure expertise:

Landing Zones, VMs, Networking, Storage, Entra ID, Security, AKS, AVS, Azure SQL, Backup/DR, AVD

.

• Strong experience with

VMware, Windows/Linux, networking, virtualization, storage, and data center architecture

.

• Proven experience leading

large-scale enterprise migrations and modernization programs

.

• Strong customer-facing consulting, solutioning, architecture governance, and technical leadership experience.
• Experience leading

architects and SMEs across globally distributed teams

.

Preferred Certifications

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Azure Administrator / Network / Security certifications
• Terraform and/or VMware certifications
