ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Position Description

You will serve as a ELECTRICAL ENGINEER in the Propulsion & Power Engineering Department, Power & Energy Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will act as the subject matter expert and recognized authority (national and international) for matters pertaining to Electrical Power and Wiring Systems.
• You will provide leadership, direction and definitive authoritative technical advice to all program managers and and ST members in all stages of development and support.
• You will provide subject matter expertise in the application of advanced concepts, principles, equipment and/or test and evaluation techniques for aircraft Electrical Power and Wiring Systems.
• You will represent the NAVY at technical, governmental, inter-governmental and industrial organizations and makes statements of policy for the NAVY as appropriate in regards to aircraft Electrical Power and Wiring Systems.
• You will attend component, subsystem and system SETRs to provide grey-beard review of programs.
• You will create and maintain weekly situational summaries for the Power and Energy Division.
