About this role
Dedicated Community Landscape Account Manager
(Sole Point of Contact – One Community Only)
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated landscape professional to serve as the exclusive, full-time point of contact for one large community. You will be the single person the association management company contacts for anything related to the landscape. You will know the property intimately, answer questions about all services, generate enhancement proposals, and maintain a strong ongoing relationship with the client.
Success in this role depends on building and maintaining a strong, trusted relationship through consistent communication, responsiveness, and deep knowledge of the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the sole point of contact for the association management company and all client-related communication regarding this community.
- Answer questions about lawn maintenance, irrigation, horticulture, service schedules, and any other work being performed on the property.
- Stay current on mowing, trimming, and other service timing across the community so you can respond accurately and promptly.
- Generate and present landscaping and enhancement proposals based on site visits, client requests, and identified opportunities.
- Schedule and attend regular meetings with the association management company.
- Coordinate information internally with lawn maintenance, irrigation, and horticulture managers as needed so the client receives clear, consistent answers.
- Become proficient in Aspire software for proposal generation, tracking, and account documentation.
- Build and maintain a strong, trusted relationship through reliable communication and responsiveness.
Requirements
- Experience in commercial landscaping with working knowledge of Florida lawns, ornamental plants, plant health, and common landscape issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain services clearly to community and association contacts.
- Comfortable generating proposals and discussing enhancement opportunities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to own one large account as the primary client contact.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to visit the property regularly.
- Experience with landscape management software (Aspire preferred) or the ability to learn it quickly.
Preferred
- Prior experience as a dedicated or primary point of contact for a large community or HOA account.
- Knowledge and familiarity with basics of landscaping, lawn maintenance, and other aspects of the industry
- Basic familiarity with irrigation systems and horticultural best practices in the Tampa Bay area.
