IT Project Manager

Natixis is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead Global Markets initiatives in close collaboration with IT business analysts and developers across local teams and Head Office. We are open to hiring at either the Associate level or the Vice President level, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

In this role, you will oversee projects from initial definition through implementation and manage a portfolio of change requests for a business domain, such as Compliance or a business line. The scope of responsibility and level of ownership will be commensurate with your experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Scope and initiate projects: Lead requirements gathering and define project scope and boundaries.
• Plan and coordinate delivery: Develop and maintain project plans, coordinate contributors, and manage change control.
• Manage budgets: Develop project budgets, track expenditures, and monitor budget performance.
• Oversee governance and compliance: Establish decision gates and escalation paths, ensure alignment with applicable standards and regulatory requirements, and maintain auditable project documentation.
• Communicate with stakeholders: Provide regular status updates, manage expectations, and foster collaboration across teams.
• Monitor and control delivery: Track progress, risks, and dependencies, and adjust plans as needed.
• Prepare for delivery and handover: Confirm readiness for each project phase, coordinate rollout and production readiness, and ensure a smooth handover to operations.
• Close projects and capture lessons learned: Obtain stakeholder sign-off, document lessons learned, and archive project materials.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, business management, business administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience in finance or banking, with exposure to business analysis, IT development, or project management.
• Familiarity with Global Markets front-to-back IT projects, regulatory initiatives, or both.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira; familiarity with Scrum is preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Level and experience

• Associate: 2–5 years of relevant experience, with the ability to coordinate project activities, track deliverables, and collaborate across teams.
• Vice President: 5–10 years of relevant experience, with a track record of leading complex projects, managing senior stakeholders, and driving delivery across multiple teams.

The salary range for this at the Associate -level will be between $110,000 - $140,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance

The salary range for this at the VP-level will be between $140,000 - $180,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance
