Elgin and St. Charles, IL | Full-time | $72,000–$98,000/year, based on experience
Part-time also available at $50–$65/hour
Our therapists call My Recess a "unicorn." In our recent team survey, every one of them rated their satisfaction 5 out of 5. With a couple of team members relocating out of state and growing demand for services, we're hiring two full-time pediatric OTs to join them.
For over 13 years, we've served families across the Tri-Cities and Fox Valley, with occupational, speech, and feeding therapists working side by side. Our approach is relationship-based and child-led, combined with a skilled understanding of the body: sensory processing, regulation, and motor development. Parents and caregivers are active partners in every child's care.
The practice is led by Lori Silverberg, OTR/L, a pediatric OT since 1999 who has spent her career developing clinicians. New graduates receive weekly one-on-one mentorship for their first year, and experienced therapists take part in bi-weekly small-group mentorship and supervision. As we grow, there are opportunities for career advancement, including clinical leadership roles.
We welcome OTs at every career stage, including those just starting out.
Schedule
Our team values flexibility, and it goes both ways. Full-time includes two evenings per week until 7:00 PM and a minimum caseload of 26 visits per week. This role may be based at St.
Charles, Elgin, or split between both, depending on caseload needs and candidate preference. Target start date is November, with flexibility for the right candidate.
