About this role
Account Executive – Healthcare & Physician Partnerships
Location: Boca Raton, FL or Queens, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Reports to: Sales Program Director
Base Salary: $180,000–$250,000
Total Compensation: $250,000–$300,000, including performance-based MBO bonus
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with proven sales experience and established relationships within the physician community to join our team as an Account Executive.
This is an opportunity for a healthcare professional to leverage their clinical background, industry knowledge, and existing physician network in a strategic business development role. The ideal candidate understands the healthcare landscape, is comfortable engaging with physicians and healthcare decision-makers, and knows how to build relationships that translate into business opportunities.
This is a consultative, relationship-driven sales role—not a traditional high-pressure sales position. You will work directly with physicians, practice owners, and healthcare executives to understand their operational and financial challenges and determine whether our healthcare services are the right fit.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, practice owners, and healthcare executives.
- Leverage your existing physician network to develop new business opportunities and establish partnerships.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and discovery through contract execution and handoff to onboarding.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand medical practices’ operational, financial, and revenue cycle challenges.
- Educate prospective clients on healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) and our service offerings.
- Present tailored solutions, proposals, and financial or revenue projections.
- Address questions and objections through a thoughtful, consultative approach.
- Maintain an active pipeline through consistent prospecting, relationship development, and follow-up.
- Conduct approximately 2–3 prospect conversations per day.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
- Attend healthcare conferences, networking events, and industry meetings.
- Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and follow-ups in Salesforce.
What We’re Looking For
- Clinical background: PA, RN, or NP with an understanding of physician practices and the broader healthcare environment.
- Sales experience: A demonstrated track record in sales, business development, account management, or a similar client-facing role.
- Established physician relationships: Existing connections with physicians, practice owners, or healthcare executives that can support relationship development and new business opportunities.
- Relationship-building skills: Confidence engaging with healthcare decision-makers, developing trust, and maintaining long-term professional partnerships.
- Consultative sales ability: The ability to identify client needs, communicate value, and recommend solutions that address business challenges.
- Business acumen: An interest in healthcare operations, financial performance, and helping medical practices improve their business outcomes.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: Self-motivation, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with an internal team.
Preferred Experience
- 3–7+ years of relevant experience across healthcare, sales, business development, consulting, or a related field.
- Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM), physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), surgical groups, or payer organizations is a plus, but not required.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a clinically experienced professional who has developed strong physician relationships and sales skills and is ready to apply both in a business-focused capacity. You will have the opportunity to build strategic partnerships, help healthcare organizations address meaningful business challenges, and contribute directly to company growth.
