Hot Rod Shop CAD Designer

Murray Kustom Rods is a custom car builder in the middle of the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. We have a great family oriented city, with a comfortable cost of living, great schools, and a booming economy. We are looking for a CAD designer to come in and help us with our parts development and design work on our customer’s projects.

We have been in business for 20 years and have grown considerably since our beginnings. You will have the opportunity to develop hot rod parts from start to finish. It is extremely rewarding to see a part you designed turn into a beautiful product on a high end piece of automotive art.

We want someone that is passionate about cars!

What we are looking for:

\- Skilled Autodesk Inventor or Fusion 360 user (This is a must have skillset)

\- Autocad experience

\- Ability to work with multi\-part assemblies

\- Ability to 3D laser scan and transform to a model

\- Ability to produce 3D models from templates and sketches

\- Ability to reverse engineer parts

\- Job shop experience is a plus

\- Automotive experience is a plus

\- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and production (We have an in\-house laser, press brake, mill, lathe, etc.)

\- Ability to create drawings, bill of materials, and cut lists

\- Must have mechanical knowledge

\- Great computer skills

\- Ai experience

\- Great organization skills

\- Strong communication skills

\- Highschool diploma

\- Great attitude

\- Strong work ethic

\- Self\-starter and Independent worker
