Mountain States Plastics is a family-owned blown film manufacturer in Johnstown, Colorado. We make collation shrink film, stretch hood film, heavy-duty sack film, pallet covers and combo liners, and we're a BRCGS Grade A certified plant. We're growing our direct customer base and are hiring someone to build our Midwest territory.

The Role

You'll own a new territory covering Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin, based in northern Indiana. This is a hunter role. You'll find, open and grow direct accounts with box plants, food processors and manufacturers that run film every day.

You'll work directly with the people who make the film, so you get answers fast.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and open new direct accounts across the territory
• Visit plants, learn how customers run film, and recommend the right product
• Quote, negotiate and close, then grow those accounts over time
• Coordinate samples, trials and orders with our plant and customer service team
• Keep your pipeline and accounts up to date in our CRM (Odoo)

What We're Looking For

• Must live in northern Indiana (South Bend, Elkhart, Fort Wayne, Merrillville area or nearby). This is a field role, not remote from anywhere.
• Regular travel throughout IN, IL, MI, OH and WI is required, including overnight stays. Expect to be on the road most of the week.
• 3+ years of B2B outside sales, ideally in packaging, film, corrugated or industrial products
• Existing buyer relationships in the Midwest are a big plus
• Comfortable working independently without a local office
• Willing to learn the technical side of film and explain it to customers
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Pay

Base salary plus uncapped commission on the accounts you open. The posted range runs from starting base to total earnings for top performers.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
