Moscarino Landscape &]]
Design is seeking an experienced, hands-on landscape professional ready to take the next step into operations management.
This hybrid field and office position is ideal for an experienced commercial landscape foreman who understands field production, can lead multiple crews, and wants to develop into a full operations management role.
We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to jump on a mower, help a crew finish a property, or solve a problem in the field, but who also understands the importance of scheduling, labor efficiency, customer service, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Field Operations (Approximately 65%)
- Oversee daily commercial landscape maintenance operations and multiple crews.
- Assist crews with mowing, trimming, pruning, enhancements, and other landscape services as needed.
- Conduct property inspections and ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Train and develop foremen and crew members.
- Monitor production hours, crew efficiency, and job performance.
- Assist with equipment management, safety, and operational readiness.
- Support snow and ice management operations during winter months.
Office & Management (Approximately 35%)
- Assist with daily and weekly crew scheduling.
- Review labor hours against job budgets and identify inefficiencies.
- Maintain accurate work orders, time records, and job documentation.
- Communicate with commercial property managers and customers.
- Assist with estimating small enhancement projects and identifying additional service opportunities.
- Coordinate staffing, equipment, and materials.
- Utilize landscape management software to track production and operational performance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial landscape maintenance experience preferred.
- Prior crew leadership or foreman experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial mowing and landscape maintenance operations.
- Comfortable using computers, smartphones, and management software.
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees and customers.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Willingness to perform physical labor when necessary.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Growth Opportunity
This position is designed for someone who wants to advance beyond running a single crew. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to grow into an Operations Manager role with increased responsibility for staffing, production, budgets, and branch performance.
We are looking for a leader who can work in the field, think like a manager, and take ownership of results.
