Job Summary
Morlux Staffing LLC is expanding its rehabilitation staffing team! We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and qualified Physical Therapists (PTs), Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), and Physical Therapy Technicians/Rehabilitation Technicians to support our partnering long\-term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers.

Duties and Responsibilities1\. Physical Therapist (PT)
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments.
- Develop individualized rehabilitation treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, and mobility interventions.
- Evaluate residents recovering from surgery, stroke, fractures, and other medical conditions.
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Supervise PTAs and support personnel in accordance with state law and facility requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation.
Qualifications
Active PT license in Connecticut or New York for the assigned location. Experience in LTC, SNF, geriatrics, or subacute rehabilitation preferred.
2\. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Carry out physical therapy treatments established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, balance, and mobility activities.
- Monitor residents' responses to treatment and report changes to the supervising PT.
- Reinforce resident education and established rehabilitation goals.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation and nursing staff.
- Maintain timely treatment documentation.
- Provide treatment within the PTA's legal scope of practice and required supervision.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited PTA program and active PTA license in Connecticut or New York for the assigned location. Geriatric rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred.
3\. Physical Therapy Technician / Rehabilitation Technician
- Prepare rehabilitation treatment areas, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist with transporting residents to and from rehabilitation sessions when authorized.
- Clean and sanitize therapy equipment.
- Maintain organized rehabilitation spaces.
- Assist therapists with nonclinical preparation and administrative duties.
- Report resident concerns or observed safety issues to licensed rehabilitation staff.
- Follow infection\-control procedures and facility protocols.
- Perform supportive tasks within the technician's permitted role.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Previous healthcare, rehabilitation, or LTC experience preferred. No PT/PTA professional license required for nonclinical technician duties.
Rehabilitation Technicians do not independently administer skilled physical therapy treatments, evaluate residents, or establish treatment plans.

- Ability to work collaboratively with rehabilitation and nursing teams.
- Compliance with facility credentialing and health screening requirements.
- CPR/BLS certification when required by the assigned facility.
- Ability to complete appropriate documentation and follow confidentiality requirements.
