How It Works:

Monterey works with the Department of Veteran Affairs to contract with physicians, NP, and PA's to perform Compensation and Pension exams for our country’s veterans who live in the area.

The one-time exam is for the Gen-Med doctor, NP, or PA to evaluate a specific condition and report the status. You would report this electronically onto a Disability Benefits Questionnaire form which will be electronically submitted to the VA.

  • These exams require no treatment or follow-up, and we reimburse you directly.
  • We schedule the soldier/veteran, based on your availability (preferred to see Veterans at least 1 day/week).
  • These exams have been outsourced by the VA to individual providers across the country.

Network Highlights

  • See veterans/soldiers in your own clinic space in or near Columbus, GA.
  • Exams are 1 hour in length and turnaround time for reporting is 2 days.
  • Flexibile Scheduling-as long as the appointments are scheduled sometime during normal business hours, Mon-Fri.
  • We schedule on behalf of the claimant with 5 – 7 business days’ notice.
  • Submit your examination findings electronically and we reimburse you.
  • No complicated claim submission or denials.
