Permanent RN – Emergency Department (ER) - Rowlett, TX | Evening Shift

Job Responsibilities

As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care using a professional nursing practice model.
• Assessing patients and identifying healthcare needs and potential complications.
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans.
• Monitoring patient conditions and evaluating responses to treatments.
• Coordinating patient care and ensuring safe patient transfers and transportation.
• Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Delegating nursing responsibilities based on patient conditions and team competencies.
• Maintaining compliance with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and facility policies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent, hands-on Emergency Department (ER) RN experience is mandatory.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to Texas.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain it within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Required Certifications

• BLS: Required or must obtain within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course): Required or must obtain within 18 months of hire/transfer.
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course): Required or must obtain within 18 months of hire/transfer.

Pay: $32.00 - $53.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
