Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Psychiatric Physician Associate (PA) to join our growing mental health practice in a telehealth capacity.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality psychiatric care, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and be fluent in both Spanish and English to effectively serve our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments via telehealth.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management when clinically appropriate.
• Provide ongoing psychiatric follow-up care and patient education.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EHR).
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychotherapists, TMS Clinical Director and other healthcare professionals to conduct TMS screenings and to ensure continuity of care.
• Deliver culturally sensitive psychiatric services to Spanish-speaking and English-speaking patients.
• Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal telehealth regulations.

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Associate program.
• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state where services will be provided.
• Unrestricted DEA License
• Fluent in Spanish and English – REQUIRED.
• Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings.
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently within applicable PA practice and supervision requirements.
• Comfortable providing psychiatric care through telehealth platforms.

Preferred:

• Experience providing outpatient psychiatric medication management.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Prior telepsychiatry experience.
