About this role
Own second shift at a busy downtown Atlanta attraction. Guests are in the building, events run at night, and when a spill is reported, the clock is running. If you would rather run a crew than a desk, read on.
About Millennium Facility Services
At Millennium Facility Services, we believe excellence starts with people: the ones who show up with pride, lead with kindness, and serve with purpose. Our team supports some of Atlanta's most iconic spaces, keeping them beautiful, clean, and welcoming for everyone who walks through the doors.
About the Role
The Second Shift Operations Manager owns the evening cleaning operation: the crew, the standards, and the handoff to the next shift. You report to the Account Manager, who owns the client relationship, and you run the floor from afternoon into late evening, with events and some weekends as needed. This is a salaried, on-site leadership role.
What You'll Do
- Lead a large evening cleaning crew with purpose and positivity.
- Cover call-outs the same night so every area has a name on it before the shift starts.
- Get to spills and guest-area needs fast, and make sure every one is logged and closed.
- Walk and inspect your areas every night, coach to the standard, and close out issues the same day.
- Run event changeovers and floor care, including auto scrubbers.
- Keep a clean handoff with the Account Manager and the first and third shifts.
- Use simple mobile tools for inspections, schedules, and timekeeping.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years leading a janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or hospital EVS team, ideally on evenings in a public building such as a hospital, hotel, venue, arena, or campus.
- Experience running a crew of 20 or more.
- Numbers you can talk about: response times, inspection scores, how long your people stay.
- A record of keeping crews together, not churning through them.
- You work the floor, not just the office.
- You write things down: incidents, spills, coaching, follow-ups.
- Comfort with mobile apps and digital scheduling.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
What We Offer
- $60,000 per year starting salary
- Quarterly performance bonus available, based on client satisfaction, inspection results, and crew retention
- Paid training and ongoing support
- Room to grow with a growing company
- Leadership development and mentorship
- A positive, team-focused culture that feels like family
