Physical Therapist - Early Intervention

Pay: $80 to $100 per hour (1099)

Flexible Schedule: You may set your own schedule anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

Milestone Therapeutic Services is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team in delivering exceptional early intervention services that support children and their families in successfully navigating daily routines. In this role, you will work directly with families and help shape the delivery of innovative, results-driven therapy for children aged zero to three.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a strong passion for supporting their development.

Essential Functions:

• Provide physical therapy services to infants and toddlers in accordance with IFSP using a coaching model
• Collaborate effectively with parents to support outcomes
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions
• Participate in team meetings and provide professional input on the child's performance
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations and company policies

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in a seated or standing position for extended periods of time
• Knowledge of the proper handling of infants
• Travel between assignments in the DC Metro area

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in physical therapy
• Valid licensure as a PT in Washington, DC
• Previous experience working with the pediatric population
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment

Bonus Qualifications:

• Bilingual is preferred but not required
