Billing Accountant – A Unique Blend of Accounting & Billing This is a unique opportunity for an early in their career accounting professional who enjoys variety and wants to develop their accounting skills. The position combines approximately 60% month-end close and general accounting responsibilities with 40% accounts receivable and billing.

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a desire to learn and grow professionally. Our client is seeking a Billing Accountant to join their accounting team.

This individual will play an important role in supporting the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of revenue, accounts receivable, cash activity, and related general ledger accounts. The accounting responsibilities include recurring monthly close activities such as journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, financial reporting support, and maintaining complete, audit-ready documentation.

The Billing Accountant will apply established accounting principles and policies to analyze account activity, investigate discrepancies, and support accurate financial reporting. Accounts receivable and billing responsibilities are also an important component of the role, providing the underlying transaction data that flows into the company's accounting records and financial statements.

This individual will serve as a primary point of contact for the franchise network, providing professional assistance with royalty and fee billing, account activity, payments, credits, and billing inquiries.

The Billing Accountant will work closely with the Director of Accounting & Finance, the accounting and finance team, operations, franchise support teams, franchisees, clients, and payers to resolve issues, strengthen internal controls, and identify opportunities to improve accounting and billing processes.
