About this role
Job Summary
Join our nursing team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and deliver attentive, evidence-informed care across patient needs and care settings. You’ll assess patients, coordinate treatment, administer medications, and keep accurate records while communicating clearly with patients, families, and the care team.
Your impact
Timely assessment and coordinated care help patients and families make informed decisions and support safer transitions between care settings.
Duties
- Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, identify changes, and respond to urgent needs using appropriate critical care and emergency response procedures.
- Develop and update care plans; administer medications, injections, and IV infusions; provide catheter, tube-feeding, ostomy, and pain-management care as appropriate.
- Coordinate intake, triage, diagnostic evaluation, discharge planning, and referrals with clinicians and support services.
- Document care in electronic health record (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems, protect patient privacy under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and follow infection-control and aseptic practices.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment, nutrition, and ongoing care needs.
Skills
- Required: Current registered nurse licensure and ability to provide safe patient care, conduct assessments, administer medications, and maintain clear medical documentation.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, vital signs, patient assessment, and basic life support (BLS) practices.
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems, medical records, and care coordination is valuable; familiarity with Epic or Cerner is a plus.
- Relevant experience may include hospital, acute, critical or intensive care, emergency, medical-surgical, telemetry, primary or urgent care, pediatrics, geriatrics, long-term, post-acute, home, hospice, behavioral health, dialysis, or occupational health settings.
- Additional useful skills include IV insertion, venipuncture, phlebotomy, catheterization, airway management, ventilator care, trauma response, developmental-disability support, memory or dementia care, and ICD-10 or CPT coding.
Pay: $55.00 - $80.00 per hour
