Job Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Operations Manager (RN) to lead nursing operations and support safe, coordinated care for residents. This role combines team management, clinical oversight, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with residents, families, and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support nursing staff, coordinate daily operations, and promote consistent patient care.
• Oversee patient assessments, medication administration, care planning, discharge planning, and accurate medical documentation.
• Monitor nursing policy compliance, infection control, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) practices, and applicable state healthcare and long-term care regulations.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams on clinical concerns, utilization management, and continuity of care.
• Your impact: Strong clinical oversight helps residents receive coordinated care while giving staff clear guidance and support.

Experience

• Required: Active registered nurse (RN) license and nursing leadership, supervising, or charge experience; demonstrated team management and managerial communication skills.
• Required: Nursing home or long-term care experience, patient assessment skills, and knowledge of long-term care regulations.
• Preferred: Experience with senior care, dementia or memory care, assisted living, home care, or individuals with disabilities.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as PointClickCare, is an asset; knowledge of ICD-10 coding, utilization review, and case management is also valued.
• Additional clinical experience in acute, critical, medical-surgical, dialysis, or infusion care is welcome.

Pay: From $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
