Customer Sales Representative

Overview

As a Customer Sales Representative, you’ll build customer relationships and guide business clients toward products and services that fit their needs. You’ll combine proactive prospecting with responsive account support, using customer relationship management (CRM) software to organize opportunities and follow through.

Duties

• Generate leads through prospecting, cold calling, and other direct sales activities; support business development across an assigned territory.
• Manage customer accounts, communicate with clients, and provide attentive customer service throughout the sales process.
• Present and sell relevant products or services, including technology solutions; identify opportunities for upselling and negotiate terms.
• Track leads, customer interactions, and sales activity in Salesforce or other CRM and sales management systems.
• Analyze sales activity, manage territory priorities, work toward sales targets, and close deals through inside, outside, retail, or remote sales channels as applicable.

Experience

• Experience in sales, customer relationship building, client communication, and deal closing is valuable. Backgrounds in B2B (business-to-business), business-to-consumer, direct, inside, outside, retail, or territory sales may be relevant.
• Technical sales experience, technology sales, account management, lead generation, negotiation, and territory management are useful strengths.
• Proficiency with CRM software and sales management systems is preferred; Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Strong analysis skills, customer service, and sales negotiation skills support success. Management or sales management experience is helpful, but not required.

Pay: $24.66 - $31.47 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 60.0 per week
