Physical Therapist (MD Licensed)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of physiotherapy practices, with experience in outpatient, inpatient, and community care settings.

As a Licensed Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, and delivering exceptional patient care to diverse populations, including geriatric and orthopedic patients.

Your expertise in clinical documentation standards and patient rehabilitation will ensure the highest quality of care while adhering to medical terminology and physiotherapy protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including physiology and anatomy evaluations, to develop effective treatment plans aligned with clinical goals.
• Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, patient rehabilitation exercises, and mobility training tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and optimize patient outcomes across inpatient, outpatient, hospital, and home health settings.
• Manage clinical documentation accurately within eCW electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards for medical terminology and physiotherapy documentation.
• Work with diverse patient populations including geriatrics and orthopedic patients to promote mobility and functional independence.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, post-discharge care strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance long-term health benefits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physiotherapy advancements, anatomy knowledge, and clinical practices related to outpatient rehabilitation center experience and home & community care.

Experience

• Valid MD licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist with practicing credentials in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in outpatient clinic environments or outpatient rehabilitation centers with a focus on patient care delivery.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to orthopedics, geriatrics, and general physiotherapy practices.
• Experience managing electronic eCW health records (EHR) or EMR systems efficiently while adhering to clinical documentation standards.
