Job Summary

Bright Horizon Multispecialty Clinic is a newly opened clinic in Las Vegas offering family practice and medical spa services. We proudly serve veterans and our local community and are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team.

New graduates are welcome to apply. We are willing to train and provide guidance and support to help you succeed in your role.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide thoughtful, evidence-informed care across patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. You will work with healthcare professionals to support patients in settings such as primary care, urgent care, hospital, outpatient, or post-acute care, according to your experience and the role’s clinical needs.

Your impact

Timely assessment and coordinated care help patients and families make informed decisions and navigate treatment safely.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, assess vital signs, and conduct diagnostic evaluations; document findings in medical records.
  • Develop care plans, prescribe medications within applicable regulations and collaborative practice agreements, and provide medication administration or procedures within your scope.
  • Coordinate referrals, case management, discharge planning, and follow-up; communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team.
  • Apply infection control, aseptic technique, privacy, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements.
  • Use electronic medical record (EMR) and electronic health record (EHR) systems; experience with Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks is useful.

Qualifications

  • Current Nurse Practitioner credentials and authorization to practice are required; applicable prescribing authority and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) compliance are needed when relevant.
  • Strong nursing foundation in anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, patient care, and clinical documentation; basic life support is preferred or required by the practice.
  • Relevant experience may include primary or acute care, emergency medicine, intensive care, pediatrics, geriatrics, internal medicine, behavioral health, gastroenterology, dialysis, hospice, occupational health, or senior care.
  • Additional useful skills include triage, suturing, phlebotomy, venipuncture, intravenous (IV) insertion or infusion, catheter care, tube feeding, pain management, and telehealth.
  • Familiarity with medical coding, including Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), International Classification of Diseases (ICD-9/ICD-10), clinical research, utilization review, and workers’ compensation is beneficial.
