Junior Graphic Designer

Job Summary

MAVIN is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to support our Senior Graphic Designer and marketing team. This role focuses on creating and updating print and digital materials, including catalogs, brochures, internal forms, and product instructions. You’ll also assist with photo editing, furniture imagery, and AI-generated assets while supporting other marketing projects as needed.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and update marketing displays, including catalogs, brochures, sell sheets, and point-purchase displays.
• Design internal forms, training materials, announcements, and other company communications.
• Maintain brand consistency and high-quality design standards across all materials.
• Assist with product photography editing, image retouching, color correction, and furniture imagery.
• Help develop clear product assembly instructions and step-by-step diagrams.
• Learn and apply generative AI tools to support furniture image creation.
• Manage design files, spreadsheets, and project tracking while adapting to changing priorities and department needs.
• Collaborate with Marketing, HR, production, and other teams while incorporating feedback and revisions.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, layout, typography, and brand consistency.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, ask questions, and collaborate effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, professional approach to feedback.
• Interest in learning new design tools, including generative AI.
• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or an equivalent portfolio demonstrating strong design skills.
• Product photography or studio lighting experience is a plus but not required.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.0 – 40.0 per week
