Manufacturing Systems Engineer

**About the Role**

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will serve as a technical authority dedicated to maximizing operational performance and equipment reliability. By leveraging statistical analysis and continuous improvement methodologies, you will drive impactful changes that reduce waste, stabilize production, and enhance overall product quality.

**Responsibilities*** Diagnose and resolve complex manufacturing process bottlenecks to ensure consistent production flow.

• Execute process capability studies, Design of Experiments (DOE), and statistical process control (SPC) to minimize variability.
• Lead structured problem\-solving initiatives, such as Kaizen events and A3 projects, to deliver measurable operational gains.
• Analyze production data to uncover trends and implement proactive solutions that improve equipment uptime.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to integrate equipment upgrades and reliability\-focused retrofits.
• Design and deliver technical training programs to elevate the workforce's proficiency in process integrity and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of capital projects to support long\-term site growth.
• Ensure all engineering activities strictly adhere to OSHA, EPA, and internal safety compliance standards.

**Qualifications**#### **Required Skills**

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and data\-driven decision\-making.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and methodologies like SPC and DOE.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead cross\-functional teams through continuous improvement projects.

#### **Preferred Skills**

• Experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Background in capital project management and equipment lifecycle analysis.
• Demonstrated success in developing technical training materials for production staff.
• Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems.
